  • Duncan Lee is the Managing Director of Pinnacle Strata and he brings a wealth of business development experience to our team. Duncan has over 20 years' experience in the strata management industry and holds a Bachelor of Business with a specialisation in Accounting.

    In 2019, Duncan was elected by his peers to the Board of Directors of Strata Community Association (QLD). Duncan also holds the positions of Treasurer of the SCA (QLD), Chairperson of the SCA (QLD) Audit and Risk Committee, Chairperson of the SCA (QLD) Professional Standards Committee and SCA QLD’s representative to the Commissioner for Body Corporate and Community Management’s Stakeholder’s Forum. Duncan was also the recipient of the 2021 President’s Award for his outstanding contribution to the Body Corporate Management industry.

    Duncan has a wealth of experience in managing complicated body corporate structures, including layered schemes, BMS and bodies corporate legislated under the Integrated Resort Development Act 1987. Duncan excels in financial management, problem solving and dispute resolution.

    He has consulted to property developers to establish suitable strata and community titled structures for their projects and managed portfolios of buildings including some of Queensland’s most complex strata structures.

    Duncan's financial skills have been honed through his previous roles including senior financial and operational positions and executive management positions in a number of ASX Listed Public strata management companies including Executive Director and Company Secretary of an ASX Listed Public Company, Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee and a member of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee for an ASX Listed Public Company, Financial Controller for two ASX Listed Public Companies and Operations Manager for two ASX Listed Public Companies.

    In these positions he has gained experience and achieved successful outcomes in a wide variety of key strategic business roles and has undertaken due diligence and feasibility reports on potential acquisitions; development and integration of policies and procedures; new business development; preparation of financial statements for consolidated group in accordance with AIFRS and consolidating and restructuring financial accounts of 20+ subsidiary companies.

  • Meet Jack, a highly accomplished Senior Body Corporate Manager with extensive experience in the industry. Jack's impressive credentials include a Bachelor of Business degree with specialisations in Real Estate, Property Development, and Marketing. This education has given Jack a deep understanding of the intricacies of the industry and the ability to provide valuable insights to his clients.

    Jack's dedication to the industry has been recognised by his peers, as he was nominated as a Rising Star in the Body Corporate Management Industry by the Strata Community Association (QLD) in 2020. This nomination reflects Jack's outstanding contributions to the industry and his commitment to delivering exceptional results for his clients.

    Throughout his career, Jack has managed a diverse range of communities, including large and small residential complexes, as well as commercial and industrial complexes throughout South East Queensland. Jack's breadth of experience has given him a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by Body Corporate Managers and the ability to manage these challenges effectively.

    Jack's commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, combined with his exceptional organisational and communication skills, make him a highly valued member. His ability to manage complex projects and his attention to detail have earned him a reputation as a trusted and respected professional in the industry.

  • Lisa is a Senior Body Corporate Manager at Pinnacle Strata with a diverse skill set that includes architecture/drafting and graphic design. Lisa has been working within the strata industry for 7 years, where she started as an Assistant Strata Manager and worked her way up to becoming a Strata Manager. She also worked at Dulux as part of their Strata Services division, gaining valuable experience in the industry.

    From 2021 to 2023, Lisa was a part of the Legislation Committee for Strata Community Association (QLD). Her involvement aimed to effect change and submit recommendations to the Department of Justice to improve the Body Corporate Legislation. Throughout her career, Lisa has managed a diverse range of communities, including high-rises, townhouse complexes, and industrial sites, from Cannonvale to Coolangatta.

    With her expertise in building design and construction, Lisa has been able to provide exceptional insights and support when it comes to building rectification projects and construction matters. Her dedication to the industry and commitment to delivering exceptional results has made her a valuable asset to our team.

  • With over 15 years of experience in Body Corporate management, Jess Daly has expertly managed a diverse portfolio of schemes, including mixed-use developments, residential properties, holiday lets, commercial schemes, layered schemes, and properties governed by a Building Management Statement (BMS). Jess’s extensive industry knowledge and hands-on approach ensure that each scheme is managed efficiently, complies with all regulatory standards, and fosters a positive community atmosphere. Her dedication to delivering tailored solutions makes her a trusted leader in strata management, enhancing both property value and the living experience for residents.

  • Megan brings years of dedicated experience in the strata industry, managing a diverse portfolio that includes large residential schemes, boutique buildings, commercial properties, and complex Building Management Statements (BMS). Her background as a former Resort Manager has given her valuable insight into working closely with Committees and Strata Managers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless building management.

    With a keen eye for financial planning and long-term asset management, Megan has been involved in multi-million-dollar budget proposals, capital works expenditure plans, and major project coordination. Her strong organisational skills and proactive approach allow her to navigate the intricacies of strata management with efficiency and attention to detail.

    Outside of work, Megan is just as dynamic. As a proud mother in a family of eight, with her youngest now turning 18, she understands the importance of balance, structure, and resilience; all qualities that also shine through in her professional life.

  • Katy Kapnia is an experienced and dedicated Body Corporate Manager with 15 years in the industry, transitioning from customer support roles to Body Corporate management. Her extensive background provides her with a wealth of knowledge and expertise, making her an invaluable member of the Pinnacle Strata team.

    Throughout her career, Katy has managed a diverse range of portfolios, from small schemes to larger mixed-use developments. Her proficiency in the BCCM Legislation and Modules, along with other associated legislations such as BUGTA, ensures that she handles all aspects of Body Corporate Management with precision and compliance.

  • Introducing Renee Phillips, one of Pinnacle Strata's esteemed Body Corporate Managers. With over 13 years of experience in the industry and eight years as a legal secretary, Renee possesses a wealth of knowledge and expertise in Body Corporate Management.

  • Emily is our highly valued Senior Accountant and Team Leader at Pinnacle Strata. With a Bachelor of Commerce and over 12 years of experience in the strata industry, Emily brings a depth of expertise and leadership to our team.

    Before joining us, Emily worked as a bank teller at National Australia Bank and as a Finance Officer at Gold Coast University Hospital. These roles have refined her financial skills and attention to detail, making her an invaluable asset to our team.

    Emily's dedication extends beyond Pinnacle Strata and into our community. She is actively involved in community sports, including netball and junior AFL, where she has taken on many roles such as Team Manager, Coach, Fundraiser, and even Club President. Her commitment to these activities reflects her leadership skills and her passion for fostering teamwork and community spirit.

  • Travis Henry is a seasoned strata accounting professional with an impressive 17 years of experience in the industry.

    He holds a Bachelor of Accounting & Finance from Southern Cross University and is an associate member of CPA Australia.

    Throughout his career, Travis has managed the financial complexities of some of the Gold Coasts largest and most prestigious schemes. His deep expertise extends to mixed-use and company title schemes, where his meticulous approach ensures financial compliance and clarity for all Clients.

    Travis is particularly renowned for his proficiency with Building Management Statements, an area where he has developed extensive experience, offering invaluable support and solutions to complex Schemes.

    In addition, his previous roles as a Team Leader and General Manager saw him manage highly effective teams, delivering exceptional client outcomes.

    With his extensive background, Travis also draws on international experience as a teacher, trainer, and Area Manager, further enhancing his ability to communicate effectively and provide tailored support to diverse teams and Clients.

    Travis’s logical approach, combined with his passion for fostering strong client relationships, makes him a key asset to the Pinnacle Strata team.

  • Michelle is a highly skilled professional with over 15 years of experience in the Body Corporate industry. Michelle started her career as a Client Support Specialist at StrataMax. She then transitioned into a training position where she gained a deep understanding of the StrataMax programs and worked closely with Body Corporate Managers' offices to help them optimise their use of the software.  Michelle’s high level of knowledge with the StrataMax system has been invaluable to Pinnacle Strata and our Clients.

    Michelle's industry experience extends beyond her time at StrataMax, having worked in three different Body Corporate Offices in various Support roles. She has a strong background in managing insurance renewals and claims processes for portfolios, as well as levy arrears and debt recovery management. Michelle's proficiency in administration and finance makes her a versatile asset to the Pinnacle Strata team.  She holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting, further demonstrating her exceptional qualifications and dedication to the industry.
